Carol Ann Corson
With tender hearts we pass on to you the news of the passing of Carol Ann Corson, long time member of Plymouth Monthly Meeting, past teacher at Plymouth Meeting Friends School and Germantown Friends School and member of PMFS School Committee. May our prayers weave a quilt of comfort for the family.
There are those who remember Carol as her students.
There are those who remember working with Carol as a teacher or a member of school committee.
There are those who remember working in the library with her.
There are those who remember her clear and teachable moments in support of the preservation of Abolition Hall.
There are those who most recently knew Carol from her stories after Meeting for Worship as a releaser of butterflies and advocate for all children, especially those with learning differences.
There are , there are, there are people of all ages and places around this world that have been touched by Carol’s gift of being with and that of her helping people to love to learn no matter who they are.
A bit of her smile, a bit of her joy, a bit of her curiosity, a bit of her spirit lives on within us as certain as she was with us just days ago. May we return to her over and over and draw from that deep well of knowledge as we continue unfolding the kind of world that she worked all her life to nurture.
Attached are two articles recently released by PMFS that provide a warm and comforting remembrance of a life that blessed us.
