Workshop description:
Every meeting needs more friends to join in the work of the meeting. Are you open but unsure what it entails? Do you want to learn more without making a commitment?
Bring friends for a fun community building in-reach opportunity to grow your meeting from the inside.
Minute-taking, when done “Quaker style,” is a rewarding spiritual practice. Jim demystifies what Quaker minutes are (and are not), how to keep them simple, and the importance of active listening in the Quaker decision making process.
No commitments expected, but you'll leave inspired, supported, and more confident about participating in the work of the meeting!

Jim Herr brings his love of being a recording clerk at the Yearly, Quarterly and Monthly Meeting levels, and for other Quaker organizations to the topic.
